Competitive Track: A 200-meter competitive track provides athletes and fitness enthusiasts with a top-notch space for running and various track and field activities.

The architectural program spans three floors, each tailored to optimize operations, foster collaboration, and showcase Clear Lake's vibrancy. The design prioritizes accessibility, efficient operations, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout.
1st Floor: Operations and Engagement
The first floor is dedicated to the chamber team's daily operations, ensuring an organized and collaborative workspace. The layout incorporates five dedicated offices for the team, a streamlined event prep area, and a modern lobby that serves as a welcoming visitor center. The large inviting space captures Clear Lake's vibrancy, accommodating multiple visitor groups simultaneously. A merchandise area, office space, event preparation room, and restrooms complete the functional and engaging first floor.
2nd Floor: Versatility and Convenience
The second floor focuses on versatility and convenience, with storage facilities, additional offices available for short-term rental or chamber team expansion, and a well-equipped kitchenette to cater to various gatherings. A spacious conference room with modern AV technology is designed to accommodate various meeting styles, ensuring the floor is adaptable to the evolving needs of the Clear Lake Chamber.

With a focus on accommodating four distinct classrooms distinguished by signature colors and integrating a consistent hexagon motif throughout, the project aims to create a visually engaging and conducive space for young learners. Additionally, the addition features a new entry, office area, nurses station, and conference room, all designed in the school's colors to reflect its identity and spirit.
Classrooms: Signature Colors
The four classrooms within the addition are each distinguished by signature colors: teal, green, yellow, and orange. The use of vibrant and stimulating colors helps to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment that fosters creativity and inspiration among students. A consistent hexagon motif is integrated into the design of the classrooms, promoting cohesion and visual interest throughout the space. Hexagonal shapes can be found in elements such as flooring patterns, wall decorations, and furniture design, creating a unified and cohesive aesthetic.
New Entry & Office Area:
The new entry and office area are designed in the school's colors: red, black, and gray, reflecting the institution's identity and spirit. Bold and contemporary design elements are incorporated to create a welcoming and impactful entrance that reinforces the school's sense of community and pride. The office area is strategically designed to optimize functionality and efficiency, providing staff with dedicated workspaces, storage solutions, and amenities to support their daily operations. The new entry is equipped with security features and accessibility enhancements to ensure the safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors.
Nurses Station and Conference Room:
The nurses station is centrally located within the school, providing easy access and immediate assistance to students in need of medical attention. Equipped with essential medical supplies and equipment, the station is designed to meet the health and wellness needs of the school community.

The metamorphosis of Dancin' with a Roxie from its humble origins as a hog confinement to a premier dance studio is a testament to the transformative power of architecture. This not only revitalized the existing structure but also reimagined its purpose to meet the specific needs of an elite dance facility. The expansion was a response to the studio's rapid growth, outgrowing its initial confines. The addition introduces 5,260 square feet of dynamic, purpose-built areas, facilitating a diverse range of dance classes and fostering an environment conducive to artistic exploration.
In addition to the dance studios, a spacious waiting area serves as a communal hub, providing dancers, patrons, and parents alike with a comfortable space to connect and refuel. Two new restrooms, thoughtfully integrated, enhance the overall convenience and accessibility of the facility. The reception and merchandise area serves as a vibrant centerpiece, welcoming visitors with an air of sophistication and glamour. The finishes chosen for this area provide a subtle yet distinctive "shimmer," adding a touch of elegance that complements the shining dance stars who grace the studios.
The exterior renovation completes the holistic transformation, giving the facility a modern and visually appealing facade. The architectural language reflects the studio's identity, making a bold statement about its commitment to excellence in the arts.

The Hillphoenix Industrial Addition and Renovation project aims to enhance the functionality, aesthetics, and employee experience of the company's facilities. With a focus on promoting collaboration, productivity, and brand coherence, the addition will include a spacious cafeteria accommodating up to 150 individuals, while the renovation will encompass office spaces, workstations, conference areas, collaborative spaces, flex offices, and a product showroom. Throughout the design process, adherence to the company's branding guide ensures consistency and alignment with Hillphoenix's corporate identity.
Cafeteria Addition: Capacity and Layout
The cafeteria addition is designed to accommodate 150 persons comfortably, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among employees. Various seating options including booths, counter-height, and bar-height seating are strategically positioned to offer flexibility and cater to diverse preferences. The layout prioritizes flow and accessibility, ensuring ease of movement and efficient utilization of space.
Two custom microwave stations are integrated into the cafeteria design, providing convenience and flexibility for employees to warm their meals. The stations are strategically located to minimize congestion and optimize workflow within the cafeteria area.
All fabrics, colors, and design elements within the cafeteria adhere to Hillphoenix's branding guidelines, ensuring a cohesive and unified aesthetic that reflects the company's identity. Attention to detail is given to the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings to create a welcoming and visually appealing environment.
Renovation Features: New Offices and Showroom
The renovation includes the introduction of new office spaces and workstations designed to enhance employee comfort, productivity, and collaboration. Ergonomic furniture, sit-stand desking and ample storage solutions are incorporated to promote a conducive work environment. Flex offices are introduced to accommodate the evolving needs of employees, providing versatile spaces that can be adapted for individual work or team collaboration as needed. The renovation includes the creation of a product showroom designed to showcase Hillphoenix's latest innovations, technologies, and solutions.
